If you’ve been playing Star Wars: Battlefront II and having issues with latency, you’re not alone. Developer DICE has confirmed the the game is experiencing server issues that can cause lag for players on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

In a post on the official Battlefront forums, the developer stated, “We are aware of the issues that lead players to experience latencies on the game servers. We are currently investigating and will update you as soon as we have more info.” The thread is closed to further discussion, and no further information or a timeline for resolution has been given.

Not all players are having issues, but others say that the lag has made the game unplayable. A patch was released last week with aims to improve stability and performance, but it did not resolve the current issue.

Star Wars: Battlefront II was released on November 17 amidst a flurry of controversy regarding micro transactions, leading EA to temporarily suspend them just hours before the game’s release. While DICE is tuning server performance and addressing the lag issue, they’re also working on tweaks and changes to the in-game credit system.

The game is available on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One. You can view our review of the game on YouTube.
